John Weiburg is a Professional Engineer and an ACI who has been inspecting houses on Long Island, NY since 2004.  John has taught Home Inspection Licensing/Continuing Education classes at Molloy College since 2006 and has presented at Inspection World (IW) 2015 (Philadelphia), IW 2018 (Orlando), IW 2020 (New Orleans) and in Ottawa, Canada at the Canadian Home Inspector Conference. John is also slated to speak on Engineering Referrals for Home Inspectors in Las Vegas at IW 2023.

John is the current President of Long Island ASHI and is actively involved in elevating houses and designing new houses to meet FEMA requirements to mitigate future impacts from storms such as Hurricane Sandy.  John is often called in as a Professional Engineer to consult on storm damaged houses and as an expert witness.
