ASHI Members are encouraged to take advantage of all the different benefits they receive when joining the association. Below is the full list of benefits with some additional details about the value they offer members and how they may access each one.
Find An Inspector Search
The Find An Inspector search is AHSI’s flagship search engine to connect homebuyers with ASHI Members. The search allows homebuyers to search for ASHI Inspector and ASHI Certified Inspector (ACI) Member in their area and view member profiles to learn more about their expertise and services.
Member Profile Customization
ASHI Member have an online Member Profile that can be customized with their contact information, licensing details, service offerings, and company information.
Home Energy Score Assessor Program
ASHI has partnered with the U.S. Department of Energy and I.D. Energy to create a specialized program to give members everything they need to become a Certified Home Energy Score Assessor.
Background Verified Inspector Program
The Background Verified Inspector (BVI) Program conducts background checks for members. After completing the program, member are endorsed as Background Verified Inspectors.
Logo Use
ASHI Members are encouraged to use the ASHI logo with their corresponding membership level across all their business platforms and assets.
Custom Logo Design Service
ASHI offers a free Custom Logo Design Service to create custom logos for members. An ASHI designers will work with member collaboratively to create a company logo.
ASHI Discount Program
The ASHI Discount Program allows ASHI Members to take advantage of savings across a wide range of products and service that are useful for operating a successful home inspection business.
Multi-Inspector Program
For companies that employ several inspectors or single operators looking to expand their team. AHSI offers multi-inspector discounts to groups of three or more inspectors.
InspectorPro Insurance with the ASHI Advantage
AHSI has partnered exclusively with InspectorPro Insurance to provide members with quality errors and omissions and general liability insurance offerings at a discounted rate.
Checkd by Consumer Reports
Checkd service work similarly to ASHI’s Find An Inspector search, where homebuyers can find and hire vetted home inspectors. After becoming an ASHI Certified Inspector (ACI), members are automatically listed on Consumer Report’s Checkd service.
Mentorship Program
The ASHI Mentorship Program helps newer or less experienced home inspectors get the guidance they need to be exceptional home inspectors by pairing them with experienced home inspectors, who volunteer to serve as their mentors.
Foreclosure.com
ASHI has a partnership with Foreclosure.com, a website where users can search local listings of foreclosed homes for sale, with dedicated space compiling local ASHI members who could provide an inspection.
InspectionWorld®
InspectionWorld® is ASHI’s annual conference held for home inspection professionals to gather, learn and discuss the various topics about the home inspection industry.
AHSI Edge
The ASHI Edge is the association’s education platform that features a catalog of courses that members can take to earn continuing education credits for ASHI and specific state licensing requirements. AHSI members have access to the majority of courses for free as part of their member benefits.
Local ASHI Chapters
ASHI has Chapters across the U.S. that serve as extensions of the association on a regional level, allowing members to interact and network both personally and professionally.
ASHI Reporter Magazine
ASHI’s flagship publication, the ASHI Reporter, is a monthly print magazine that covers the “news and views” from across the home inspection industry and beyond.
ASHI Newsroom
The ASHI Newsroom is an online news hub that offers up-to-date information about trends and current events of the home inspection industry.

Report Verification
ASHI Members have access to the Report Verification Portal where expert verifiers review reports to ensure compliance with the ASHI Standard of Practice and Code of Ethics.
